Matthew 28:19 KJV
“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost”
The Shiloh Community Church Mission is to minister to people of all nationalities and prepare them to serve the community and the world. Strong believers that our community exists far outside our borders, we proudly support Kids Konnect 4 Jesus.
Children who are properly equipped for learning, learn more and learn better. Back to School can be a financially challenging time for many families. Five years ago, Shiloh began helping families throughout the community to offset some of the Back To School costs. A program that started small, our Back to
School program provided more than 500 fully stocked backpacks for children of all ages. Our Back to School Fair is a time to celebrate learning and set a positive environment to prepare our children to learn. Partnerships with the Johnson County Library, UMKC School of Dentistry, the Shawnee Police and Fire Departments, and a number of local businesses allow us to provide a fun, carnival-like atmosphere in a safe environment.
Community Baby Shower
Shiloh Community Church is proud to sponsor a Community Baby Shower annually for new and expecting families. New moms experienced a little pampering, fun, fellowship and food, along with some fabulous gifts and door prizes. We believe that the expansion of our Christian family is a cause for celebration!
For many families, Christmas holidays present a true financial hardship. Many can’t stretch limited dollars to include some of the celebration that many of us take for granted. Our annual Community Christmas Party is an opportunity for families to enjoy the holiday festivities without the expense. Families can enjoy holiday snacks, fellowship, craft activities, face painting, etc., all provided in the spirit of Christian love. Our participation in the Toys for Tots program also allows us to provide needy families with presents to put under their Christmas tree.
Community Christmas Caroling
The week before Christmas finds the Shiloh family witnessing through song to local nursing homes. Sharing Christmas cheer warms our hearts as much as those we visit.
If you’ve come out to watch the Old Shawnee Parade in the past, you’ve probably seen the Shiloh Church family!
